Earl Everett is a hands-on Agile practitioner who coaches and guides teams and organizations on their journeys of agility. His first Agile experience was in 1974, when he began playing rugby, a game which provides an immersive experience of high-performing cross-functional teams utilizing inspect and adapt.

In software, Earl began his journey as a Programmer/Analyst and, over the next four decades, he wore the hats of BA, Tester, PM, Scrum Master, Product Owner, Coach, Manager, Director, and Business Owner. He practiced Rapid Application Development before it had a name, and he has been in the Agile trenches since adopting XP practices in 2001 and Scrum in 2002. Earl has built and coached teams in the U.S., Canada, China, India and Germany, which have consistently achieved high performance, higher quality, improved market focus and greater satisfaction,

Earl is President of Advancing with Agile, LLC, which provides Agile development consulting for teams, groups, and companies beginning or advancing on their Agile journeys.

Earl speaks at conferences, at Agile groups, and at other professional organizations, covering topics related to software development and testing, project and product management, leadership, and organizational change. He is both kinds of Certified Scrum Professional (CSP-SM and CSP-PO), a SAFe Program Consultant (SPC4), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
